Industry Representation
AFSA has good working relationships with Australian and State Government agencies, and is active in representing members’ views on policy and legislation impacting on the industry. The AFSA has also received significant government grants.

The AFSA is also a Board Member of the Fertilizer Industry Federation of Australia (FIFA), and maintains a close working relationship with FIFA member companies.

Risk Management
AFSA members abide by national codes of practice that help manage the environmental and OH&S issues associated with spreading, transport and storage. AFSA members also receive considerable savings in the costs associated with the industry’s stewardship program Fertcare – including the Accu-Spread testing and accreditation program.
